Thinking of Traveling to the Region of Kvarner?
Social media marketing like blogs, articles online and social media networkers
have shaped the way we do research for our future vacations. After reviewing all
different blogs and articles about the region of Kvarner I would like to do
more research on the area and travel there in the future. This shows that the
marketing of Kvarner is working to get people interested and
attracting more tourists to the area. While
reviewing the different articles and blogs I came across two different types of
layouts; one being the more typical type of blog styles and one being
more fact based.

“Chasing the
Donkey’s” “Kvarner Region: Katarina Line Croatia Cruise” it was a typical
travel blog layout with photographs and videos of their personal travel
experience of the Kvarner Region. The perfect blog for a family looking for a
family friendly adventure.
- Layout; with the use of a contents page. This allows you to read whatever you are interested in when you travel.
- Subtitles; starts the subject they are going to talk about and makes everything a lot easier to read
- Straight to the point; telling us they will be writing about their cruise experience, if you do not want to do a cruise or read about a cruise then this is not the blog for you
- Advertising – too much, distracts the reader from the blog content
- Photographs could be a little smaller in size as that would stop you from having to scroll so much.

“Lonely Planet” is a more formal version of a
travel blog, it is not a traditional blog layout compared to the first blog I
reviewed. “Welcome to Kvarner” gives you a brief introduction to Kvarner, where
it located is and the climate, this makes you want to read more.
- Site format; formal, different tabs and links so you can click on what you want to read about.
- The tab “in detail” breaks down the site for you even more showing you travel options depending on what kind of traveler you are personal for example with children. They even have a link for Gay and Lesbian travellers, which not a lot of sites include.
- They could include people’s personal experience in Kvarner and their opinions

These two blog were my favourite as they both gave me information I was looking for. Personal experience blogs are missing the information about the region for climate and history, but more informational blogs give me that information. Therefore, you need to look at both types of blogs to get every bit of information you are looking for when travelling to a country that you have never been to before.
Overall, there is a lot of blogs and articles you can visit when it comes to information on traveling to Kvarner; some informational, some personal experiences. They all have useful information, it all depends on what you are looking for.References
